B Braun of America Inc., a United States-based company that provides smart infusion therapy and pharmacy products, patient and provider safety, and sustainable health solutions, announced on Wednesday that it has named Rob Albert as its new chief executive officer effective 1 April 2024.

Albert is to succeed Jean-Claude Dubacher who is taking on global management responsibilities, while remaining chairman of the company's board.

Albert joined the firm as a manufacturing supervisor in operations. He has served in the company for 40 years with roles in Operations, Sales and Marketing. He has held the position of senior vice president & chief marketing officer of B Braun of America's subsidiary, B Braun Medical Inc.
