Health solutions company CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) announced on Wednesday that it has named Heidi Capozzi as its new executive vice president, chief people officer, effective 9 September 2024.
In the new role, Capozzi is to head the human resources, labour relations, compensation and benefits, and corporate social responsibility teams that support the company's strategy to build a world of health around every consumer. Capozzi succeeds Laurie Havanec, who is leaving the company.
Capozzi is to serve as a member of the company's executive leadership team and report to CVS Health president and CEO Karen S Lynch. She has served at McDonald's as executive vice president and global chief people officer. She has worked in senior roles in human resources at Boeing, including as senior vice president, Human Resources. Capozzi has also worked in roles across the Human Resources function in large and small enterprises in the defence and automotive industries.
