US-based privately held genomics technology company CS Genetics announced on Thursday that it has named Jay Harger, PhD as its new chief operating officer and Mike Stubbington, PhD as its new chief scientific officer.
In the new role, Harger will be responsible for heading the firm's global operations strategy, to include facilities, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management. He originally joined CS as senior vice president of Operations. He has also served at Illumina for more than 15 years and worked in various senior leadership roles, including senior director of Product Management and senior director of Portfolio Management.
In the new role, Stubbington will be responsible for heading the company's global research and development group. He will also work as site head for the company's UK operations based in Cambridge. He originally joined CS as vice president of Research and Development. He has served in companies such as 10x Genomics and at Wellcome Sanger Institute.
