Swedish medical device company VibroSense Dynamics AB (Spotlight Stock Market: VSD B), which develops tools for diagnosing nerve damage in the hands and feet, said on Friday it has received regulatory approval in Thailand for VibroSense Meter II.
VibroSense Meter II provides objective, quantitative measurement of vibration perception in the hands and feet and is used to detect peripheral nerve damage not identified by current clinical tools.
The device is now registered as a Class 1 medical device with the Thai Food and Drug Administration, marking a milestone in the company's Southeast Asian expansion and confirming that VibroSense Meter II meets Thailand's safety and performance requirements.
According to VibroSense, Thailand is one of Southeast Asia's largest healthcare markets, with a growing medical technology sector and a strong focus on chronic disease management, including diabetes. Its well-developed public and private hospital system makes the country a strategic market for the company's regional growth plans.
