Stevanato Group S.p.A. (NYSE:STVN), a provider of drug containment, drug delivery and diagnostic solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences industries, announced on Thursday that liraglutide-based combination products using its proprietary Alina pen injector platform have received marketing authorisations in multiple European countries.

The approvals cover finished combination products for diabetes and weight management therapies held by respective Marketing Authorisation Holders.

Approved configurations include Alina 30 for liraglutide-based diabetes treatments and Alina 50 for weight management applications. Both products are part of Stevanato Group's variable-dose pen injector platform designed for GLP-1 therapies and other injectable treatments.

The Alina platform features a dial-a-dose mechanism with visual, audible and tactile feedback, compatibility with ISO standard 3 mL glass cartridges, and integration capabilities for pharmaceutical manufacturing and assembly processes. Stevanato Group said the authorisations support broader commercial adoption of its drug delivery portfolio as injectable therapies and patient self-administration models continue to expand.
