Taiwan and US-based biopharmaceutical company Foresee Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (TPEX: 6576) said on Monday that its partner Changchun GeneScience Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (GenSci), part of Changchun High-Tech Industries (Group) Co., Ltd. (SHE: 000661), has received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for the Marketing Authorisation Application for CAMCEVI 42 mg.
The product is a ready-to-use, six-month subcutaneous depot formulation of leuprolide mesylate for adults with advanced prostate cancer.
CAMCEVI is exclusively licensed to GenSci for commercialisation in China across current and pipeline indications, including advanced prostate cancer, central precocious puberty and premenopausal breast cancer. GenSci also submitted a supplemental New Drug Application in May 2026 for leuprolide mesylate injectable emulsion for premenopausal breast cancer, which the regulator has accepted for substantive review.
CAMCEVI 42 mg is a sustained-release gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist offering a less-frequent dosing alternative to existing therapies. It is approved for advanced prostate cancer in the United States, the European Union and other markets, and now in China.
