ABL Texcell Diagnostics (Euronext Paris:ABLD), a provider of molecular biology tests, said on Monday that it has acquired IntegraGen's assets and business operations following a ruling by the Evry Commercial Court on 9 October 2026, expanding its capabilities in precision oncology, human genetics and rare diseases.
This acquisition builds on the recent integration of Texcell's activities, which strengthened the company's expertise in virology, biosafety and scientific services for the biopharmaceutical industry.
The transaction includes IntegraGen's strategic assets, inventories and operational contracts, as well as the transfer of 16 employees specialising in sequencing, bioinformatics, quality and laboratory operations. ABL Texcell Diagnostics has committed to maintaining transferred employees' contractual benefits and implementing no economic redundancies for 24 months.
The acquisition price totals EUR100,000, comprising EUR95,000 for tangible and intangible assets and EUR5,000 for inventories. The company plans an initial investment of approximately EUR150,000 to redeploy the acquired activities and estimates additional funding requirements of around EUR900,000 during the initial months, bringing its overall economic commitment to more than EUR1.27m.
IntegraGen's capabilities include next-generation sequencing, genomic analysis software and proprietary precision-oncology technologies for detecting and monitoring minimal residual disease in cancer patients.
With this acquisition ABL Texcell Diagnostics enters molecular oncology and clinical genomics, extending its business beyond molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. The company plans to combine IntegraGen's expertise with its Texcell and ABL Diagnostics divisions to develop integrated services spanning biological characterisation, viral safety and genomic analysis for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
ABL Texcell Diagnostics also intends to explore potential technological and commercial collaborations with oncology diagnostics companies, leveraging IntegraGen's sequencing capabilities and experience under US CLIA and CAP frameworks. Implementation will depend on integration progress, validated market demand and confirmation of applicable regulatory requirements and accreditations.
