DisposeRx Incorporated, a drug disposal company that provides a solution to eradicate the misuse of unused medications, announced yesterday that it has named Kelly J Clark, MD, MBA as its new strategic advisor.
Dr Clark is the founder of Addiction Crisis Solutions. She serves as president of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, over 6,000 physicians representing the largest medical professional organisation focusing on addictive disease, and Steering Committee member of the National Academy of Medicine's Action Collaborative to Combat the US Opioid Crisis. Her previous roles include chief medical officer of Behavioral Health Group and CleanSlate Centers; medical director for CVS Caremark and CDPHP; and providing expertise to the FDA, SAMHSA, DOJ, and the US comptroller general. She is currently active on the Association of Managed Care Pharmacy's Addiction Advisory Group and as a founding member of the Advisory Board of the National Rx Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit.
