10 July 2018 - - Hayward, California-based respiratory disease treatment developer Aradigm Corp. (NASDAQ: ARDM) has appointed Dr. Theresa Matkovits to the board, the audit committee of the board, and the nominating and corporate governance committee of the board, the company said.
Matkovits currently serves as chief operating officer of ContraVir Pharmaceuticals where she has also served as executive vice president and head of drug development. She is also presently serving as a board director of BioSurplus.
In previous years, she has filled executive roles at NPS Pharmaceuticals, The Medicines Company, and Novartis.
Matkovits earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her undergraduate studies at Alfred University.
Aradigm is an emerging specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of drugs for the prevention and treatment of severe respiratory diseases.
