22 March 2018 - - Davis, California-based agricultural technology company Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: RKDA) has appointed Sarah Reiter as chief commercial officer, the company said.

Reiter has more than 20 years of experience in the agriculture and food industries. Most recently, Reiter was US country head for STK Bio-ag Technologies, where she managed sales, distribution and business development functions. She previously served in senior positions with Bayer CropScience, Syngenta and AgraQuest.

Reiter holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Davis and a master's certificate in business administration from the Villanova School of Business.

Arcadia develops agricultural products that create added value for farmers, enhance human health, and improve the environmental sustainability of agriculture.

Its nutrition traits and products are aimed at creating healthier ingredients and whole foods with lower production costs.
