Dassault Systèmes to acquire ArisGlobal in up to USD2bn deal

French software developer Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris:DSY) announced on Thursday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ArisGlobal for approximately USD1.8bn in cash, plus up to USD200m in additional payments tied to multi-year AI-related revenue milestones.

The transaction was unanimously approved by Dassault Systèmes' board and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.

ArisGlobal provides an AI-native enterprise compliance platform for more than 200 life sciences customers, including half of the world's top 50 biopharma companies, and is expected to generate USD175m in revenue in 2026. Its platform processes more than 12 million patient safety reports annually and supports regulatory, safety, quality and medical affairs operations.

Dassault Systèmes said the acquisition will combine ArisGlobal's real-world patient insights with its expertise in research, clinical development and manufacturing to create a unified AI intelligence platform for the life sciences industry. The company expects the transaction to generate revenue synergies and be accretive to revenue growth and earnings per share in the first year.
