Boehringer Ingelheim, a global company involved in animal health, announced on Thursday its latest innovation, TwistPak(R), which it said is a revolutionary mixing platform.
According to the company, TwistPak(R) enables swine producers to combine two vaccines, Ingelvac CircoFLEX(R) and Ingelvac MycoFLEX(R), in a convenient, fast and flexible way. TwistPak(R) is globally available in all registered presentation sizes.
The company added that the patented TwistPak(R) technology incorporates a unique, hygienic interlock at the bottom of each bottle to connect two bottles with a simple twist. This action creates one single mixing chamber, which fits in all standard vaccination devices. The new TwistPak(R) vaccine bottles, enhanced with an ergonomic design, are a result of advanced manufacturing technologies. This is why TwistPak(R), jointly co-created with the industrial design and product development company DESIGNquadrat, was awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2021, category product design.
