A COVID-19 booster jab for 16 and 17-year-olds in England can now be booked or they can attend a walk-in vaccination centre, BBC News reported on Monday.
Invitations will initially be sent to the 40,000 teens who had a second vaccine dose at least three months ago.
Subsequently, over 600,000 people aged 16 and 17 who have had two doses will be eligible for the booster.
Also, about 500 clinically vulnerable 12 to 15-years-olds, who are most at risk from COVID-19, can also be able to get a booster dose.
