Thailand has ordered an additional 30 million doses of the Pfizer (NYSE:PFE)/ BioNTech's (Nasdaq:BNTX) COVID-19 vaccine, Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday.
Government spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana said that delivery under this order is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.
This latest order is on top of 30 million Pfizer-BioNTech shots due to arrive this year and 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca (LON:AZN) COVID-19 due for 2022.
