EDX Medical Group plc (LSE: EDX) announced on Wednesday that it has been appointed by Astron Health Ltd to provide molecular profiling products and services in the UK, expanding its precision oncology diagnostic offering.
Under the agreement, EDX Medical will provide diagnostic tests including Caris MI Profile, a tumour profiling platform designed to guide precision oncology treatment, and Caris Assure, a blood-based molecular profiling test for patients with previously diagnosed solid tumours where tissue biopsy is not feasible.
Astron Health provides precision oncology second opinions and molecular profiling interpretation, with its molecular tumour board assessing profiling results to deliver evidence-based treatment recommendations for clinicians to consider.
EDX Medical develops digital diagnostic products and services for personalised cancer and infectious disease treatment and operates facilities in Cambridge and Oxford.
