Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a South Carolina-based company that develops and produces safe, affordable generic inhalation solutions and suspension products, announced on Thursday that it has named Julie Rameas as its new chief procurement officer.
In the new role, Rameas will manage all strategic sourcing and procurement activities.
Rameas has experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, metal, electronic, aerospace, automotive, and textile manufacturing industries. She has held the position of senior director of Global Strategic Procurement at Thermo Fisher Scientific and served in global director roles at Lear Corporation. She has also worked at BioMerieux, where she led spending on all chemicals, biologics and controlled substances.
