Sweden-based medical device company Pharmacolog (STO:PHLOG) announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with B. Braun Portugal, a medical technology company, to distribute DrugLog and PrepLog with associated services in Portugal.
Pharmacolog said that the DrugLog system enables hospital pharmacies to implement additional quality control by verifying the identity and concentration of compounded injectable medications. Adding that it is ideal for chemotherapy and compounded medications.
The agreement with B. Braun Portugal aligns with Pharmacolog's strategy to broaden its distribution network. The extension of the agreement is a result of a successful collaboration with B. Braun in Spain.
Lars Gusch, CEO of Pharmacolog, commented that the agreement reinforces the long-term collaboration between the two companies.
