The president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, has said that the country has signed an agreement with US pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE) for 4.4 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, Reuters news agency reported on Wednesday.
Bukule tweeted on Tuesday night: "With this purchase, we guarantee uninterrupted immunization for our entire target population."
