Sionna Therapeutics, a US-based life sciences company, announced on Monday that it has named Vanya Sagar as its new chief people officer.

Sagar has held the position of chief people officer of Affinivax. She has earlier served as chief human resources officer of Sigilon Therapeutics and held various leadership positions at Biogen. She has served in leadership positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham Women's Hospital, and Harvard Medical School.

Sagar has a Master of Public Administration, Health Policy and Management Emphasis from Suffolk University and a BA in Counselling from Dominion College.
