Metabolon, Inc., a US-based company that offers metabolomics solutions that advance drug development and precision medicine, announced on Monday that it has named Tom Houseman as its new vice president of Operations.
In the new role, Houseman will be responsible for accelerating and enabling process efficiency and capability across Metabolon testing and operations, and Metabolon facilities.
Houseman has over 25 years of operations leadership experience, leading teams in the successful development and manufacturing of innovative products to reach customers worldwide. He has served as vice president of Operations at bioMerieux, Inc. He headed Quality Systems at Hospira, where he was responsible for all laboratory systems validation and compliance, site CQV, and continuous process verification. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies and a Master of Science in Biology from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
