Avanos Medical, Inc. (NYSE: AVNS), a Georgia-based medical technology company involved in delivering medical device solutions, announced on Monday that it has named Indrani Franchini as a new independent member of the Avanos board of directors.
Franchini has worked as executive vice president and chief legal officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, executive vice president and chief compliance officer at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc, and has served in various roles in legal and compliance at Hess Corporation. She has also served for around 10 years at Pfizer in various positions, including supporting the global pharmaceutical business. She has also practiced law at Milbank LLP, where she served for six years working in the firm's New York and Tokyo offices.
