Spineart, a Swiss company that deals with spine surgery innovation, announced on Friday that it has named Laurent Node-Langlois as its new chief technology officer.
In the new role, Node-Langlois will be based in the United States and will head the company's strategic initiatives in allowing technologies, concentrating on digital surgical planning, navigation and robotics. He will manage the company's enabling technologies strategy, including managing investments and collaborations with healthtech and deeptech startups, and improving the company's intellectual property portfolio.
Node-Langlois has more than 25 years of experience in biomechanics, surgical navigation, innovation and intellectual property. He has served as managing director at General Electric.
