Medicines360, a United States-based non-profit women's health pharmaceutical organisation, announced on Tuesday that it has named Andrea Olariu, MD, PhD as its chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Olariu is to succeed Tina Raine-Bennett, MD, MPH, FACOG.
Dr Olariu joined Medicines360 in 2010 and has served in various key roles for the company, including as its COO and as chief executive officer of its for-profit subsidiary, CuraePharma360. Prior to serving at Medicines360, Dr Olariu developed and implemented clinical/medical and regulatory strategies for various medical devices that received approval in the US, Canada, and the European Union. She has served for over 15 years in academia, as an associate professor of Dermatology at the University of Szeged in Szeged, Hungary and a Senior Lecturer of Immunology at the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, Romania.
