Viatris Inc. (NASDAQ: VTRS), a US-based global pharmaceutical company, announced on Monday that it has named Leo Groothuis as a new member of its board of directors.

Groothuis is to fill the vacancy created by the earlier departure of Michael Goettler in April 2023.

Groothuis held the position of general counsel of HAL Investments. He has served as a trusted C-suite and board advisor to certain large companies in both Europe and the United States. He has also held the position of practice leader at NautaDutilh.
