Scorpius BioManufacturing, a Texas-based biologics contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), announced Thursday that it has named Joe Payne as its new vice president, Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
In the new role, Payne will be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance remain at the forefront of the company's biomanufacturing capabilities.
Payne has over 20 years of experience in the biopharma and pharmaceutical industry, including leadership roles at Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs), Alcami Corporation and Tergus Pharma, as well as large pharma, Teva Pharmaceuticals.
