Medtronic plc (NYSE:MDT) declared on Friday that its board of directors authorised an ordinary share cash dividend of USD0.63 per share for the fiscal year 2022 fourth quarter.

This dividend reflects an increase of 8.6% over the prior year and is consistent with the dividend announcement made by the company in May 2021. Also, the company mentioned that it has increased its annual dividend payment for the past 44 consecutive years.

Shareholders of record at the close of business on 25 March 2022 will receive the dividend payment on 22 April 2022.
