Healthcare services company Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD) reported on Tuesday its net loss from continuing operations of USD36.1m (USD0.67 per share) for its third fiscal quarter ended 27 November 2021.
This marks a decline in earnings when compared with last year's third quarter net income from continuing operations of USD4.3m (USD0.08 per share), which is due primarily to higher facility exit and impairment charges driven by its store closure decision.
Revenues from continuing operations of USD6.23bn were generated for its third fiscal quarter ended 27 November 2021, up by 1.8% over revenues from continuing operations of USD6.12bn in prior year's quarter, which was driven by growth at the Retail Pharmacy Segment.
Adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations of USD154.8m was announced for its third fiscal quarter ended 27 November 2021., an increase by 12.7% from the prior year Q3 Adjusted EBITDA of USD137.4m.
