Thailand expects to receive 61 million doses of AstraZeneca's (LON:AZN) COVID-19 vaccine this year and has plans to buy an additional 60 million doses in 2022, Reuters news agency reported on Monday.
Thailand's government spokesperson, Anucha Burapachaisri, stated that after a meeting between Thailand's Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, and AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot, the company said it would deliver 61 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to Thailand this year.
