The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has stated that the US has administered 342,212,051 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and distributed 394,949,575 doses as of 6:00 hours, ET on Monday, Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday.
This is an increase over 341,818,968 vaccine doses administered on 25 July 2021 out of 394,948,975 doses delivered.
According to the CDC, 188,729,282 people had received at least one dose, while 163,173,366 people were fully vaccinated as of Monday.
This tally includes two-dose vaccines from US pharmaceutical companies Moderna (Nasdaq:MRNA) and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE)/BioNTech (Nasdaq:BNTX), as well as Johnson & Johnson's (NYSE:JNJ) one-shot vaccine.
