US President Donald Trump said on 26 November 2020 that the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine in US would begin next week and the week after, Reuters news agency reported on Friday.
Speaking to US troops overseas via video link to mark the Thanksgiving holiday, Trump was quoted as saying that the vaccine would initially be sent to front-line workers, medical personnel and senior citizens.
