Varian (NYSE:VAR) revealed on Wednesday that it has completed its asset purchase of the Boston Scientific portfolio of drug-loadable microsphere and bland embolic bead products for treating arteriovenous malformations and hypervascular tumors.
This acquisition expands Varian's portfolio of interventional oncology solutions.
When the deal was announced in July, Varian said it would benefit from the products' regulatory clearances in more than 35 countries worldwide.
For more than 70 years, Varian has developed, built and delivered innovative cancer care technologies and solutions to help treat millions of patients each year.
