Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) announced on Wednesday the investment of USD400m in its manufacturing facilities at its Lilly Technology Centre campus in Indianapolis.
The details of the investments, were unveiled by company leaders, joined by state and local government officials. The plans include enhancements to existing manufacturing facilities that make insulin, additional capacity for its growing portfolio of diabetes medicines and initial capital investments for future medicines.
In addition the investments will create approximately 100 new highly skilled jobs at the company.
Lilly was founded more than a century ago and is a global health care leader that unites caring with discovery to create medicines that make life better for people around the world.
