Medical device manufacturer Marena Group LLC stated on Wednesday that it will provide the Georgian voters, election and poll officers with 35,000 washable and reusable masks for protection against COVID-19.
The FDA approved Marena masks will be used for the upcoming primary election open for three weeks of early voting and started 18 May 2020. They will be used on the election day of 9 June 2020, a date which has already been delayed twice due to coronavirus concerns.
These Marena masks are machine-washable up to 50 times without losing effectiveness, even at high temperatures. They are made with skin-friendly TriFlex fabric with 3D stretch for optimal comfort. These PPE masks contain a Silvadur antibacterial protection, approved by the FDA, to guard the user's face, nose and mouth from their environment.
