Medical technology company Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG announced on Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Effectum CH-Rep AG, effectively carving out all Swiss Authorized Representative (CH-REP) services from Effectum Medical AG.

Under the Medical Devices Ordinance (MedDO SR 812.213), medical device manufacturers without a Swiss presence must appoint a CH-REP to distribute products within Switzerland.

This acquisition enhances Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG's ability to serve as a comprehensive partner for global medical technology manufacturers. The company's expanded portfolio now includes services ranging from import and distribution to full regulatory compliance. This positions Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG to offer integrated solutions to meet evolving industry needs.
