Sharecare, a digital health company, has launched its Sharecare YOU desktop app, a 3D simulation of the human body, aimed at improving science, health, and medical education from elementary grades to higher education and beyond, it was reported on Wednesday.
The company has added Sharecare YOU to its content and virtual health engagement platform, using virtual reality and allowing users, including students, teachers, and parents, to access its interactive photorealistic elements directly from their computers for the first time.
Sharecare YOU provides photorealistic visualisations enabling users to explore the human body in the highest resolution and 360-degree detail. It offers educational visualisations of the organs and anatomy associated with the cardiovascular, digestive/gastrointestinal, nervous, reproductive, respiratory, and urinary systems. It is offered for PC or Mac in Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the App Store in two versions, a standard one, optimised for students and consumers for USD29.99, and a pro version designed for educators for USD269.99.
