Xcaliber International issued substantial equivalence order for domestic cigarette market from the US FDA
16 May 2018 -

Xcaliber International Ltd LLC reported on Tuesday the receipt of the US Food and Drug Administration, Center for Tobacco Products' (FDA) "substantially equivalent" status for certain tobacco products under the 2009 Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.

The company has reportedly received 15 orders for certain tobacco products from the US Food and Drug Administration, Center for Tobacco Products (FDA).

With these orders, the company will better serve its wholesale and retail partners in the 40-plus states in which it operates, according to COO Derrick Taylor.

Under federal law, the products that are provisionally marketed are subject to a finding by the USFDA that they are either substantially equivalent to a product marketed in February 2007 or not substantially equivalent to that predicate tobacco product.

Based in Oklahoma, Xcaliber is a cigarette manufacturer and the premier partner for 4th Tier.
