Synthetic DNA 4basebio PLC (AIM: 4BB) declared on Monday that it has expanded its DNA offering to support production of critical starting material for personalised mRNA medicines.
The expanded offering across the company's high quality and current Good Manufacturing Practice operations in Cambridge is designed to shorten manufacturing turnaround times, support small patient-specific batches and enable rapid batch release. Enhanced process controls and quality systems are intended to maintain the high purity and integrity required for these medicines.
According to the company, the global personalised cancer vaccine market was valued at approximately USD200m in 2024 and is projected to reach USD1.4bn by 2030, representing a 45% compound annual growth rate.
4basebio's Cambridge facilities provide flexible DNA production across high quality, cGMP and Research Use Only operations, supporting applications including gene therapies, genome editing, mRNA production and DNA vaccines.
