Inify Laboratories AB (Euronext Growth Oslo:INIFY), a laboratory service that provides diagnostics within pathology, announced on Wednesday that it has launched operations in the UK after completing its laboratory and receiving regulatory approval from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), marking a key step in its international expansion.
The company signed its first agreement with an NHS Trust in June and began delivering digital pathology services after receiving the first patient samples at the end of June.
Under the agreement with University Hospital Plymouth NHS Trust, Inify manages logistics, sample preparation and digitisation, enabling hospital pathologists to conduct diagnostics remotely through its digital pathology system.
Inify is also in discussions with additional regions and hospitals as it seeks to expand its presence across the UK, with initial sample volumes expected to increase gradually.
The company has strengthened its UK organisation with an experienced Laboratory Director and additional Biomedical Scientists, while continuing to focus on the NHS as its primary UK market.
This UK expansion builds on continued sales growth in Sweden, including a tender award from Region Jämtland Härjedalen for complete prostate cancer diagnostics and an evaluation agreement with Region Västmanland for gastrointestinal diagnostics.
With regulatory approvals, operational infrastructure and its first NHS delivery in place, Inify is entering the next phase of its international growth, with the UK positioned as a key market for future expansion.
