CelLBxHealth study highlights Parsortix potential in ADC biomarker monitoring
3 August 2026 -

CTC intelligence company CelLBxHealth plc (AIM: CLBX) on Monday announced a peer-reviewed study demonstrating the use of its Parsortix platform to detect antibody-drug conjugate (ADC)-relevant targets on circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from patients with triple-negative breast cancer and epithelial ovarian cancer.

Researchers from Trinity College Dublin and St James's Hospital used Parsortix to isolate CTCs and successfully identify key ADC targets, including TROP-2, FRα and PD-L1. The study showed TROP-2 detection on low EpCAM-expressing CTCs, highlighting the platform's ability to assess heterogeneous tumour cell populations that may be missed by conventional approaches.

These findings support the potential use of minimally invasive CTC-based workflows for monitoring ADC target expression over time, addressing an unmet need as ADC therapies continue to expand across oncology.

The publication in The Journal of Liquid Biopsy further strengthens CelLBxHealth's position in CTC-based research, drug development and clinical oncology applications.
