Argo Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a China-based, clinical-stage small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutics company, announced on Monday that it has been selected to present Phase II updated results for BW-20805 at the European Association of Allergy & Clinical Immunology (EAACI) 2026 Congress, being held June 12-15, 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
BW-20805 is an investigational siRNA therapy that is designed to target and significantly inhibit prekallikrein (PKK), a well-validated target for hereditary angioedema (HAE) treatment, offering the possibility of prevention of HAE attacks with a long-term effect.
The open-label study results, selected as a late breaking abstract presentation, titled 'Long-Acting Prophylactic Injection BW-20805: Remarkable and Sustained HAE Attack Reduction -- Updated Analysis from an Ongoing Phase 2 Study', show that BW-20805 provides sustained HAE attack reductions, along with a consistent safety profile following repeated doses. The company said that the sustained and robust PKK suppression supports further evaluation of a Q6M dosing regimen.
