Swedish biopharmaceutical company Hansa Biopharma AB (STO:HNSA) announced on Monday that results from its US Phase 3 ConfIdeS trial in kidney transplantation have been accepted and selected as a late-breaking abstract for an oral presentation at the upcoming American Transplant Congress (ATC) in Boston.
The presentation will include detailed 12-month trial results, including the primary endpoint eGFR and key secondary endpoints as well as safety results. The presentation will be delivered by Dr Robert Montgomery, MD PhD, New York University Langone Transplant Institute and investigator in the ConfIdeS trial.
Imlifidase is conditionally approved in the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and the UK under the tradename IDEFIRIX for the desensitisation treatment of highly sensitised adult kidney transplant patients with a positive crossmatch against an available deceased donor. IDEFIRIX is also approved in Australia, Israel and Switzerland.
