VectivBio names new business officer and new vice president of Business Development

VectivBio AG, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has named Sarah Holland, PhD as its new business officer and Aditya Venugopal, PhD as its new vice president of Business Development, it was reported on Wednesday.

Prior to joining VectivBio AG, Dr Holland served as global head of licensing at Lonza AG. Prior to Lonza, she led External Science and Partnering across the globe for Sanofi R&D. She served at Roche for over a decade in positions of increasing responsibility. She has an MA and DPhil in chemistry from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Prior to joining VectivBio AG, Dr Venugopal served as an executive director at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, where he held roles leading corporate strategic planning and business development. Earlier, he was an associate director at Navigant Life Science Consulting. He has a PhD in immunology and microbiology from Cornell University Medical College and a BE in biotechnology from Anna University in India.
