Abcentra LLC, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has named Timothy Wright, MD as its new director, it was reported on Wednesday.

Wright is the general partner at Time Bioventures and is a rheumatologist and drug developer. He has served in various senior leadership roles in research and development at Pfizer, Novartis, California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr/Scripps Research), and Regulus Therapeutics. He has served as chief of Rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh.

Wright completed his MD, post-doctoral clinical, and research training at Johns Hopkins.
