Endo International plc (NASDAQ: ENDP), a United States-based branded and generics pharmaceutical company, has named Christie Smith, PhD as its new non-executive director, effective 29 July 2020, it was reported on Wednesday.
Prior to joining Endo International plc, Dr Smith served as the global vice president for Inclusion and Diversity at Apple. She has also been appointed to Endo's Compensation and Nominating, and Governance Committees. She has held the position of interim head of human resources at Grail and has held various leadership roles within Deloitte, including regional managing partner and head of the human capital and life sciences practices. She was also a member of Deloitte's executive leadership team.
Dr Smith has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Doctorate from New York University.
