Vision science company Doheny Eye Institute revealed on Friday the appointment of Charles T. (Tom) Foscue as chairman of its board of directors.
The institute stated that Foscue succeeds Edward A. Landry, who has served as chairman for 20 years prior to retiring from the company's board in September.
Doheny Eye Institute said Foscue helped establish the company's first operating Executive Committee in 2007 and was appointed as its vice chairman in 2011.
Earlier in his career, Foscue founded HAI Financial Inc, where he spent 40 years as an investment banker specializing in venture capital, corporate mergers and acquisitions, IPO consulting and debt financings. He served 11 years in the United States Navy including combat information center officer and lieutenant.
Foscue is currently a private equity investor and chairman and CEO of Advanced Lubrication Technology Inc.
