Medicure Incorporated (TSXV: MPH, OTC: MCUJD.PK), a pharmaceutical company, announced yesterday that it has named Dr Neil Owens as its new President and Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 July 2019.

Owens will be responsible for implementing the company's strategic plans, and managing day-to-day operations, including the advancement and management of new and existing pharmaceutical products.

Owens has worked at Medicure since 2014, serving most recently as Director, Scientific Affairs. Owens holds a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Manitoba and has Post Doctoral experience with the IECB.
