CVS Health (NYSE: CVS), a pharmacy innovation company, has named Kevin Hourican as its new president, it was reported yesterday.
In the new role, the company says that Hourican will lead the CVS Pharmacy team in delivering innovative health solutions to create a simpler, more responsive, and affordable experience for consumers.
Hourican has more than 20 years of experience in the retail industry and most recently served as executive vice president, Retail Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy. Previously, Hourican served as senior vice president, Operations for the East division of CVS Pharmacy, overseeing nearly 5,000 stores and more than 110,000 staff in 21 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Prior to joining CVS Health in 2012, Hourican served in executive leadership roles at Macy's and Sears Roebuck, where he gained significant experience in omnichannel operations and front store merchandising.
