Vitrolife's net income up in Q1 2019

Vitrolife AB (STO:VITR), an international medical device company, reported on Tuesday net income of SEK86m, or EPS of SEK 0.79, for the first quarter of 2019, from January 2019 to March 2019.

This was an increase over net income of SEK72m, or EPS of SEK0.66, in Q1 2018.

Sales for the quarter amounted to SEK312m, up by 18% as compared with SEK264m in Q1 2018. Sales for the quarter increased by 12% in local currency, whereof 4% comprised organic growth.

Also, the company received market approval for EmbryoScope+ in China.

Vitrolife develops, produces and markets medical devices for assisted reproduction.
